The Importance of Continuing Education

Since standard higher education courses do not often explore current issues such as administrative ethics, sexual harassment, collective bargaining, or conflict resolution, professional associations have taken on the role of continuing education for home inspectors, real estate professionals, appraisers, and others within the Industry, through programs ranging from short-term workshops to year-long relationships. These association-sponsored programs have assumed the responsibility for strengthening interpersonal and technical competencies of industry professionals, helping to develop their career strategies for advancement, and exposing them to broader debate about current issues that may affect them.

Professional associations are complementary to higher education training. By broadening the theoretical knowledge gained in career technical school, professional associations provide understanding in the daily operational problems of administrative life. Considering their importance in the continuing development of future leaders in the industry, advanced and continuing education programs might consider strengthening their relationships with professional associations.

PTS is dedicated to providing cutting edge Continuing Education courses that will help you prepare for the continuing changes within the industry and assist you in meeting the Continuing Education requirements of your professional association(s). We currently are offering five (5) Continuing Education courses that can be taken individually or as a group.

Each course cost $75.00

PTS reserves the right to cancel the course.

Cancellation Refunds: If student cancels 2 weeks before class - 95% or may take another PTS course. If student cancels within 2 weeks of class - 80% will be refunded.
